Overview:

The

Senior Manager, HR Business Partner

will lead and direct the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources (HR) department. This role will focus on working closely with other areas of People & Culture, operationalizing HR strategies, leading a team of HR Business Partners, conducting investigations, and coaching leaders.

Responsibilities:

LEADERSHIP

Manage and lead a team of HR Business Partners to develop, build skills and capabilities and ensure they are effectively supporting their respective business units and departments.

Coach and guide leaders across the organization on HR related topics to help them manage and develop their teams effectively ensuring adherence to policies.

Provides strategic insights and solutions to leaders on talent priorities and needs. Delivers input and feedback to the Talent COEs and provide recommendations on program execution.

Proactively utilize a wide range of data to identify themes/trends and recommend effective strategies to meet the business needs.

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

Investigates employee relations issues, complaints, grievances and conflicts in the workplace including appropriate documentation and follow-up. Provides guidance to employees and makes recommendations for resolution to management.

Prepare contracts, letters, announcements and maintain employee files to ensure data accuracy in various systems.

Handle termination-related matters and prepare termination and severance letters.

Prepare adhoc reports and analysis.

Coordinate and ensure completion of various trainings and orientations.

OPERATIONALIZE TALENT STRATEGIES

Collaborating with the Talent Team, transform HR strategies into actionable goals and processes that are easy to understand and implement across the organization.

Operationalize the strategies, programs and processes developed by the Talent team, work to identify the right People strategy and solutions to meet business objectives, providing strategic direction for the business.

Champions a high-performance environment always focused on a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment.

Execute Talent strategies within their business unit while analyzing and providing feedback on the strategy results locally.

POLICY & PROCESS MANAGEMENT

Assist in the development and implementation of employee policies and procedures.

Championing a healthy and safe working environment by recommending and implementing approved strategies, meeting government regulations.

Responsible for Health and Safety Committee, assist with tracking and reporting of incidents and status of incident resolution; develop and lead health and safety projects and initiative.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.

7-10 years of HR experience.

5+ years of proven progressively responsible experience as a HRBP Senior Manager or similar.

HR designation an asset.
