Job Summary
The Strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning HR strategy with business objectives in partnership with the leadership team in the designated area of responsibility. This role involves interpreting and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs across various HR specialty areas, including talent acquisition, employee and leadership development, performance management, talent & succession management, and employee relations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and implement HR programs, initiatives, and processes across various HR specialty areas.
Take ownership of core HR programs with strategic relevance.
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations providing guidance to other HRBPs and managers.
Provide guidance and input on structure, workforce planning, and succession planning.
Oversee and/or conduct talent acquisition efforts to ensure quality of hire.
Lead, coach, and develop Operational HRBP(s).
Analyze HR trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
Collaborate with leaders to provide guidance and input on structure, workforce planning, and succession planning.
Participate in development, evaluation, and monitoring of training & development programs to ensure success. Follow up to ensure training objectives are met.
Recognize the challenges of today and tomorrow deriving appropriate measures creating a roadmap for the area.
Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
Assist international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.
Lead social/ethical audits for the location.
May be required to perform other duties and responsibilities to meet the needs of the business.
Adhere to ERU food safety policies and all government food safety and sanitation regulations (ex. FDA, HACCP, GMP, OSHA).
Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; Master’s degree or HR certification preferred.
5+ years HR experience with experience leading people.
Manufacturing or distribution experience.
Ability to coach and develop leaders and HR team members.
Expertise in one or more HR functional areas such as talent & succession, performance management, or people & organization development.
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
Strong conflict resolution skills.
Effective decision making and prioritization.
Ability to analyze data/KPIs to identify and execute continuous improvements.
Experience in program & process management.
Very good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships throughout the organization.
Team player with a positive mindset.
