1st Shift Quality Supervisor.US Farathane has been a leading source of plastics manufacturing, supplying the automotive industry for over 40 years. We provide customers with a wide range of full-service support from black box design concepts to highly engineered composites, TPE’s and TPO’s as well as specialized extrusion and compression technologies.Summary:

The Quality Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the entire Quality System including supplier contact, in-process, final, dock audit, SPC, QOS, PPAP and 8D project support, continuous improvements, as well as all associated documentation.Essential Functions:

Assist in the creation and maintenance of job boards.Serve as main point of contact for the containment area.Prioritizations of all sorting activity, to assure shipments are not missed.Assure that all Quality Alerts are being followed for any products being sorted.Acquire layouts, testing, etc. on parts for PPAP, Problem Solving, etc.Perform and maintain Layered Process Audit System.Participate in cross-functional teams in the pursuit of problem solving and mistake proofing quality problems.Assist in part audits and sort operations as required.Work closely with the Quality Manager to track and report on daily quality related issues that occur on the production floor.Previous experience in a plastic injection molding environment preferred.Capable of performing Gage R&R and capability studies.Notify Quality Auditors on product that is completed and needs re-inspection.Track inventories of all hold products to assure hold inventory accuracy.Adhere to all company policies and procedures (i.e., quality policy manual, employee handbook, Level II procedures, etc.).Comply with all internal and OSHA required safety procedures.Maintain high standards of housekeeping in respective areas.Manage/Supervise Quality Auditor Team regarding performance, quality, discipline, timecard keeping, etc.Responsible for daily work performance of the Quality Auditors.Complete the Daily Data Card (Quality) for sorting, hold inventory, hours sorted, and dollars on hold.Reviews material certs for each received lot number.Helps handle supplier issues along with Quality Engineer.Issues SPSR's when required.Participate/train new hires in weekly orientation.Perform other duties as requested/assigned by the Quality Manager or upper management.Support and assist with maintaining Quality Documentation.Contain suspect stock internally.Responsible for performing and maintaining Calibration for QC Lab Equipment, including Check fixtures and Scales.Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in quality.2+ years of previous supervisory experience preferred.Previous experience in a plastic injection molding environment preferred.Capable of performing Gage R&R and capability studies.Physical Requirements:
