Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS) supports the University mission of academics, research and public service by providing and managing access to UC Santa Cruz.JOB SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of Transportation and TDM, the Transportation Operations Administrative Analyst designs solutions to improve data quality, processes, and documentation that are to be used in daily administrative operations of TAPS programs.APPOINTMENT INFORMATION:Budgeted Salary:

$83,000/annually. Salary commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience.Schedule Information:Full-time, FixedPercentage of Time: 100%, 40 Hours per WeekDays of the Week: Mon-FriShift Includes: DayJOB DUTIES:70% - Operational Analysis:Provides analyses for operations data, systems and projects.Works directly with all levels of managers and provides guidance, research, and support to TAPS leadership.Analyzes the efficiencies of yard flow and yard management.15% - Documentation and Reporting:Develop and maintain transportation and TDM documentation procedures.10% - Operational Administrative Oversight:Supervise staff in the execution of created improvements.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.Demonstrated experience in administration and/or program development.Strong organizational skills with demonstrated careful attention to detail.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:Selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment criminal history background check.SAFETY STATEMENT:All UCSC employees must understand and follow job safety procedures.EEO/AA:
