Event Manager

Event ManagerCivil Clothing Inc is looking for a scrappy events manager who loves bringing brands to life through various in-person events. From festivals to tours and set builds, we do it all. We’re looking for someone with production experience in a variety of events from ideation to completion.Ability to be adaptable with last-minute changes while being confidential and professional. Excited by the challenge to elevate attendee and consumer experience. Passionate about all things events while staying up to date with new trends and practices to create trailblazing events. Resourceful in finding unique ventures.We’d like someone who wants to grow with us while also having the confidence to take on new projects independently.If you’re someone who thrives under pressure, wears multiple hats, and has a can-do attitude, then we’d love to hear from you.Requirements:5+ years experience in event management and producing events from start to finish.Experience in production management: load-in, load-out, A/V, merchandise sales, ticketing, artist management, BA management, catering management, stagehand management.Budget management and event tracking ownership.Experience in expos and booth management.Positive attitude with willingness to do what it takes to execute a successful event.Experience in sponsor and partner management and onboarding.Ability to obtain permits, COIs, and invoices.Ability to produce events with sets or builds.Previous experience with ticketing platforms.This position is in-office full-time.Preferred Skills:Experience in booking venues and site surveying.Third party event production company management, sourcing and vetting.Contract negotiations.Experience in obtaining permits and needed certificates.Experience handling C-suite travel, meetings, and miscellaneous needs.Room blocks and transportation sourcing and management.Cross-functional communication while being the “hub” for department needs for events.KBUG and travel communication creation.Microsoft Office, Google Office, Asana, Shopify experience preferred.Industry knowledge in the following categories: Bodybuilding, Surf, UFC.Experience with clothing marketing and events.Familiarity and passion for Darc Sport and Civil Regime.Experience in promoting events through various marketing: social media, email, print, etc.Must have valid ID and passport. Travel may be required up to 20%. During events, extended work hours are required.
