Responsible for the manufactured snow production, Snowmakers are creative and tech-savvy professionals laying the groundwork for an epic snow season.Job Specifications:Expected Pay Range: $22.00 - $24.49 / hourShift & Schedule Availability: Full TimeSkill Level: AdvancedOther Specifics: Snowmakers operate at high elevations on the mountain in varied terrain and all-weather conditions. Due to the nature of this position, candidates must be able to navigate mountain conditions through various means of transportation including hiking, skis, snowboards, and various other vehicles.Job Responsibilities:Operate all transportation vehicles as per the standard operating proceduresUnderstand and teach proper snowmaking quality checksLead with day-to-day operationsMentor and guide snowmaker teammatesUnderstand and operate snowmaking pumps, compressors, manual and automated snowmaking gunsMaintain snowmaking equipment and buildings as directedAbility to complete assigned tasks while unsupervisedOther duties as assignedJob Requirements:Must be at least 18 years oldValid driver’s licensePrevious experience operating/maintaining heavy machinery; snowmaking experience preferredMust be able to communicate fluently in EnglishAbility to work outdoors in alpine environmentsAbility to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekendsAbility to lift and carry up to 50lbsThe expected pay range is $22.00 - $25.49.
