Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced semiconductor project manager to join our small but growing team developing innovative and successful timing products. The ideal candidate will marry technical proficiency with business sense, ambition with practicality, and rigor with warmth. The project manager will nurture the product and guide its team from initiation through the production ramp. As part of the program management team, they will also create and implement strategic initiatives to further product development at SiTime.
Responsibilities:
Lead cross-functional teams to define, develop, and deliver successful products to market
Create project schedules, request resources, assess and lower risks, delineate scope
Collaborate to optimize execution across multiple functional groups and projects
Monitor project performance relative to plan, identify gaps and implement corrective actions
Shepherd projects through product development phase-gates and required procedures
Identify, flag, and collaboratively solve problems that occur during product development
Communicate clearly with management, stakeholders, and the project team
Guide and mentor colleagues as needed and appropriate
Contribute to strategic initiatives to improve the product development program at SiTime
Qualifications & Requirements (Education must be included):
Graduate degree (PhD preferred) in electrical engineering, science or other related field
5+ years relevant experience including leading cross-functional and global teams
Expert in project and program management
Fluency in one or several of the following: semiconductor product development, circuit design, MEMS, semiconductor packaging, systems engineering, product test and qualification
Proficiency with MS Project, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Familiarity with software tools for resource and project portfolio management (PPM)

Strong organizational practices, ie. building structure to clarify complex, ambiguous situations

Ease in working with, presenting to, and facilitating decisions among senior executives, including asking the right question, listening and understanding concerns, and challenging assumptions

Willing to take risks, willing to articulate risks, and pilot through adversity
Aptitude synthesizing details into take-away messages for different audiences
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced team environment

Base pay is one part of SiTime’s Total Rewards Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity-based compensation.
