Our Livingston location has an immediate opening for a Paint Department Head! If interested in becoming an integral member of the Kenyon Noble team, please apply online or in the store! Previous experience with paint is helpful. Kenyon Noble will provide training. You will be responsible for selling products, merchandise, and services in a retail setting to drive company revenue, as well as mixing & matching paint and helping customers find their paint colors & products to complete their painting projects. Additional responsibilities include communication with vendor/supplier reps, maintaining proper stock levels, inventory, pricing, merchandising, and departmental maintenance when necessary.Responsibilities
Welcome and identify customer needsExplain products and services to customersMonitor inventory to ensure product is in stockEnter and process customer orders; investigate and resolve customer issuesRetrieve material from shelves and pallets, lift and carry up to 50 lbsTint paint, therefore, must be able to distinguish the difference between colorsOperate a computer and communicate via phoneQualifications
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fieldsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentAbility to build rapport with customersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCustomer service skills, including problem solving and handling customer complaintsWages start at $19+, based on experience. Flexible shift schedule, as well as potential weekend availability for special events. Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
