Associate Director of Advancement (updated description/salary)
Key position connects the philanthropic community with the mission and work of IAIA through donor relations, cultivation events, multi-channel fundraising campaigns, sponsorship, and the annual IAIA Benefit & Auction to raise funds for student scholarships and other strategic priorities. The Associate Director leads staff in the management of IAIA's President’s Circle (major gifts) and planned giving Legacy Circle programs with the support of the advancement team and IAIA Foundation Board.Additional Areas of Responsibility:With the Advancement Director and team, develop fundraising plans, strategies, timelines, and budgets.Oversee advancement staff in day-to-day operations.Manage creation and implementation of fundraising events, including the annual IAIA Benefit & Auction to raise student scholarship funds.Other Information/Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (business, marketing, communications, other); Preferred: Master's degree and experience working with Native American cultures. 5+ years of advancement-related experience. Experience with constituent/donor relations management (CRM) systems, online giving software, and email marketing software.
