The primary duty of this position will be to plan and carry out direct sales activities to attain new accounts in accordance with agreed sales and business plans. Work with Branch Manager and Vice President of Sales to grow revenue and exceed targets by promoting and selling our business, and driving sales activity through a designated territory. This position will require regular travel outside of the place of business.Your Duties

Develop new and prospective customers while maintaining existing accountsAssist Vice President of Sales & Branch Managers in the preparation and negotiation of bids, RFQ's & quotations with customers, suppliers, and overseas agentsCo-ordinate and attend sales visits both in the USA and with overseas partners for aiding business development if applicableCompliance with all regulations prescribed by USA Customers/ IATA/ TSA/ FMC and other governing bodiesEnsure that any client entertainment activities are carried out in a professional and responsible manner to ensure the continuing good name of Gebruder Weiss USAEnsure customer requests related to commercial activities are completed in a timely manner at the highest service levelMonitor competitor activity and industry trendsUpdate and maintain all relevant information about customers and sales activities on CRMAttend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques, and skills if applicableFulfill all identified responsibilities consistently with minimal supervision requiredDemonstrates the ability to interact effectively through speech, writing, and professional presentation in order to deliver successful business resultsDisplays good interdepartmental relationships and ensures customers, suppliers, and overseas agents needs are a primary function of one's actions and decisionsApply different techniques to sell Gebruder Weiss USA services within the market place and are comfortable with pursuing leads and new contactsUnderstanding of key financial principles that reflect and drive profitability, and ensures the department achieve its financial and quality objectivesSets and meets Sales goals and objectives in accordance with company guidelines in key performance areas and agreed key performance indicators (sales calls, visits, and new business)Your Profile

High School GraduateBachelor's degree or certification preferredKnowledge of related computer applications and reporting toolsFamiliar with all freight forwarding procedures, products, regulations and departments2-5 years of industry related experience requiredProven Sales and Business selling ability and successWhat we offer
