Bachelor's Degree or Certification preferredKnowledge of related computer applications and reporting toolsFamiliar with all freight forwarding procedures, products, regulations, and departments2-5 years of Industry related experience requiredProven Sales and Business selling ability and successYour Duties

Develop new and prospective customers while maintaining existing accountsAssist Vice President of Sales and Branch Managers in the preparation and negotiation of bids, RFQs, and quotations with customers, suppliers, and overseas agentsCoordinate and attend sales visits both in the USA and with overseas partners for aiding business development if applicableCompliance with all regulations prescribed by USA Customers/IATA/TSA/FMC and other governing bodiesEnsure that any client entertainment activities are carried out in a professional and responsible manner to ensure the continuing good name of Gebrüder Weiss USAEnsure customer requests related to commercial activities are completed in a timely manner at the highest service levelMonitor competitor activity and industry trendsUpdate and maintain all relevant information about customers and sales activities on CRMAttend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques, and skills if applicableFulfill all identified responsibilities consistently with minimal supervision requiredDemonstrate the ability to interact effectively through speech, writing, and professional presentation in order to deliver successful business resultsDisplay good interdepartmental relationships and ensure customers, suppliers, and overseas agents' needs are a primary function of one's actions and decisionsApply different techniques to sell Gebrüder Weiss USA services within the marketplace and be comfortable with pursuing leads and new contactsUnderstanding of key financial principles that reflect and drive profitability, and ensure the department achieves its financial and quality objectivesSet and meet Sales goals and objectives in accordance with company guidelines and key performance areas and agreed key performance indicators (sales calls, visits, and new business)What We Offer
