As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and ground operations, meeting customer requirements while adhering to corporate guidelines and policies.Job Purpose:
As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing warehouse and ground operations strategies. Your goal will be to ensure the efficient movement, storage, and inventory control of materials, finished goods, tools, and packaging. By aligning with the business strategy, you will contribute to cost reduction, quality improvement, and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with stakeholders to define warehouse and manual handling strategies aligned with business requirements and guidelines.Develop and implement comprehensive warehouse plans, budgets, and performance measures.Oversee ground operations, ensuring timely receipt and processing of shipments.Drive maintenance of accurate stock information, monitor material movement, and compare production schedules against inventory levels.Monitor regular inventory cycle counts to ensure accuracy.Implement inventory control measures, including stock turnover analyses and material scheduling.Establish and maintain safety/security and inventory control programs for the safe operation and storage of goods and equipment.Optimize warehouse facilities for efficient storage and distribution of material goods.Skills / Requirements:BA/BS preferred or minimum of 6-8 years supervisory/managerial experience within the freight forwarding and or airline industry.Demonstrated leadership ability to include driving KPIs, employee engagement/team building. Strong ability to develop, coach, train, and mentor staff to success.Strong knowledge and experience in warehousing, forklift operation, and workplace safety; proficiency in operations management, inventory management, and inventory control.Demonstrated ability to apply technology-operating tools (WMS-Barcode Scanning, Track & Trace).Strong computer skills: Microsoft Products (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook).Previous leadership experience in a Unionized environment is preferred.Multimodal experience is preferred (i.e., Air, Domestic, Import, Export, TL, LTL).Salary:
$111,600.00 - $186,000.00 (Based on Experience)Benefits:Total Compensation Package:
