The ideal candidate will be able to manage a high-volume practice, handling cases from inception through trial if necessary. Candidates with a judicial clerkship will also be considered in lieu of law firm experience. The attorney must possess strong research, writing, and negotiation skills, with admission to the NJ and/or PA Bar. Experience in Pennsylvania litigation is highly desirable.Duties:Handle a high-volume caseload of commercial and retail collection litigation matters from inception to resolution, including trials if necessary.Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other court documents.Conduct legal research and draft memoranda of law.Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and clients.Represent clients in court, including pre-trial hearings, trials, and post-trial motions.Develop and execute effective litigation strategies for commercial and retail collection matters.Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and legal advice.Work collaboratively with support staff and other attorneys in the firm.Requirements:1-3 years of experience in commercial and retail collection litigation, or judicial clerkship in lieu of law firm experience.Strong ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently.Excellent legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.Proven experience handling cases through all phases of litigation, including trials.Admission to the New Jersey Bar required; Pennsylvania Bar admission highly desirable.Experience in PA litigation is a strong plus.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and deadlines.Education:JD from an ABA-accredited law school.Strong academic credentials.Certifications:Admission to the New Jersey Bar is required.Pennsylvania Bar admission is highly desirable.Skills:Superior legal research and writing abilities.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Ability to handle a high-volume caseload with minimal supervision.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Proficiency in litigation technology and legal software.Experience:1-3 years of experience in commercial and retail collection litigation.Judicial clerkship will be considered as a substitute for law firm experience.Litigation experience in Pennsylvania is a plus.Company infoBCG Attorney Search125 Park Avenue, 25th floorNew York, NY 10017Phone:
