We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead SAP Business Analyst - OTC to join our corporate IT team. This role is working onsite and can be based at our headquarters in Milwaukee, WI or Chicago, IL (near O’Hare). Fully remote work or alternative work locations will not be considered.

As a Lead SAP Business Analyst – OTC you will:

Be a knowledge expert within the Information Technology organization supporting all SAP Order-to-Cash applications used by Komatsu

Ensure sales business requirements for various order to cash and related functions are translated into detailed functional specifications and consider cross functional impacts, associated risks, cost benefit analysis, business justification, audit guidelines and global support requirements

Develop and oversee project plans, resource and capacity planning, testing, deployment, and documentation processes focusing on implementing regional and global strategies, particularly in SAP S/4 HANA.

Identify approaches for new processes and recommend improvements to automate or simplify existing processes related to pricing, quoting, contract management, order intake, delivery, invoices, and customer payments.

Configure and test system processes and troubleshoot, document, and resolve system related issues

Analysis of global business processes and procedures implemented in a single instance of SAP S/4 Hana

Key Job ResponsibilitiesBusiness Process knowledge

Lead order to cash business process discussion for complex projects including application development package roll-out

Effectively communicate and work within a global team to coordinate and complete assignments for implementations, upgrades, modifications, and value opportunities associated with quote to cash processes

Manage Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into detailed specifications

Analyze existing business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization

SAP implementation and configuration

Hands-on Order to Cash process experience within ECC and S/4 in application and configuration for the global project implementation, Manufacturing industry preferred.

Expert knowledge in sales and logistics processes detailed below:

Pre-sales activities: include handling customer inquiries and creating sales quotes and contracts

Order processing: include capturing and formalizing customer requests, pricing and delivery conditions.

Availability check/aATP: if the requested products or services are available in stock or can be obtained.

Delivery processing. Logistics Execution including transportation management.

Billing.

Credit and Claims Management.

Payment processing.

commercial master data, and analytics.

Project activities

Develop and oversee project plans, resource and capacity planning, testing, deployment, and documentation processes focusing on implementing regional and global strategies, particularly in SAP S/4 HANA.

Work directly with AMS staff to ensure project/support deliveries

Work directly with vendor partnerships to augment staff capabilities.

Provides training to key and end users

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information science or a related field

8+ years of experience in SAP as an order to cash or service management business analyst, Sr. Business Analyst or related role with Hands-on experience with ECC and S/4 in application and configuration.

Hands on experience on S/4 HANA implementation project required

Knowledge of SAP Vehicle Management Systems & SAP BRIM preferred

Working experience with configuration and customization of SAP EDI solutions for quote to cash processes

Knowledge of integration points and techniques between sales with other SAP components, such as finance and logistics, as well as 3rd party applications

Previous experience planning and executing large projects of SAP S/4 HANA and/or SAP ECC. At least two full SAP implementation cycles, with at least one of them being in S4 HANA version

Expert in SAP S/4 HANA, SAP ECC; knowledge of multiple modules of SAP preferred

Ability to promote ideas, recommend solutions, and influence others within all levels of the organization including the ability to explain technical processes and concepts to non-technical user groups

Ability and discipline to self-manage assignments to meet deadlines, scope, and budget

Effective presentation skills

Working knowledge of databases, applications, and data integration interfaces

Ability to work individually, as a member of a functional team, and part of a global team

Effective change management skills

Ability to establish, build and maintain relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization

Ability to speak a second language is a plus
