What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):Plan, coordinate, and implement fundraising events to promote community awareness and support Red Cross servicesResearch and cultivate relationships with new and existing donors for monetary and in-kind giftsProvide leadership and guidance to event chairs and volunteer committeesDevelop and monitor event project plans, budgets, and outcomes to drive program growthCollaborate with communications and marketing teams to create event-related materials
What is Required (Qualifications):High School diploma or equivalent experience requiredMinimum of 7 years of related experience in event planning or a combination of education and experienceStrong leadership, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure with effective problem-solving skillsValid driver's license and good driving record required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):Experience in project management, vendor management, and fundraising budgetingFamiliarity with diverse community groups and effective networking skills
