JOB DESCRIPTION:

The

Senior Manager, Procurement

will be responsible for procurement-related activities as well as strategic cost-saving initiatives in the Repair and Maintenance vertical and sourcing and managing new and existing programs within Take 5 Oil Change, Meineke, and ATI. The manager will be expected to fully complete deals from sourcing all the way to roll out and performance tracking.

Responsibilities

Identifying and developing opportunities to increase Driven Brands EBITDA related to purchasing and franchisee/3rd party sales in direct and indirect categories

Identifying and scaling programs in the R&M segment in categories, such as oil, equipment, and services to increase vendor rebates, or savings at corporately-owned locations. These programs may be in partnership with strategic vendors and/or internal partners

Determining capabilities improvements and investments required to further grow Procurement spend under management

Partnering internally with R&M executives and personnel to ensure needs are met and partnering with vendors on potential new products, equipment or services.

Reporting on key KPIs like inventory, delivery time, and other relevant metrics to drive performance of the department

Develop close relationships with manufacturing and distribution partners to identify and improve potential issues on both a daily and long-term basis

Report on and propose solutions to executive leadership on current gaps in performance and potential opportunities

Communicate with stakeholders, both corporate and franchisees, on any issues, new initiatives, or other important topics

Work with cross-functional teams to design, test, and implement strategies, in areas such as:

Product/portfolio changes or substitutions, whether planned or unplanned on short-notice

Operational and Supply Chain enhancements, including SKU selection, layout, and inventory optimization

Growth initiatives, including new product category introductions

Customer experience improvement

Coordinate with Driven Brands IT and vendors to address technical issues or improvements with the e-commerce platform, inventory, POS, or other systems

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred

5 or more years of experience in supply chain, procurement, product support, or other related field.

Strong analytical skills required.

Fluency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint required, technical experience with e-commerce platforms, large databases and ERPs preferred.

Business-savvy, creative approach to problem-solving.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills.

Ownership mentality, desire to learn, work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to identify and assess issues and provide sound recommendations consistent with good business practices.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
