Position:
Transportation Project Manager - Senior
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide direct supervision and oversight of personnel, as required, in the following areas:
Professional Services Contract Management
Project Management
Expressway and tolling infrastructure construction.
Traffic and ITS operations
Planning, production and implementation of Capital and Transportation Improvement Plans
Environmental and corridor studies
Right‐of‐way program management
Roadway, tolling and bridge design and construction
Construction contract administration
Constructability and Bid‐ability reviews
Geotechnical, Survey and Public Involvement
Program Controls
Other areas as prescribed in the EAC Contract with the Client
Analyze complex, technical and administrative problems accurately and provide recommendation and assistance in implementing an effective course of action.
Provide consulting services on Federal, State and Local policies, laws, regulations, rules and ordinances related to transportation planning, design and construction contracts.
Develop cost estimates and budgets, tracking for capital expenditures (planning, design, right‐of‐way, design‐build and construction funds), and construction fund drawdown schedules
Facilitate contract negotiations and compliance for both professional and construction services
EXPERIENCE:
Typically, ten (10) years of experience providing engineering/management services, at least two (2) of those years shall have been providing similar management level.
EDUCATION:
Bachelors’ Degree in Civil Engineering
Registration in Florida as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) or licensed as a Professional Engineer in another state and able to obtain license in Florida.
