This is an unpaid internship. As a Program Manager Intern at [Your Company Name], you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced program management team to drive initiatives, coordinate projects, and ensure successful execution of key programs. Chicago, IllinoisTHIS POSITION WILL ENTAIL:Assist in planning, organizing, and executing projects and programs under the guidance of senior program managers.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, marketing, operations, and finance to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project milestones.Support in creating project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.Track project progress, identify risks and issues, and proactively work with teams to mitigate them.Prepare and present project status updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders and leadership.Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying areas for optimization and implementing best practices.Assist in documenting project requirements, decisions, and outcomes for future reference.Participate in meetings, workshops, and brainstorming sessions to generate ideas and solutions for project challenges.Other duties as assigned.DESIRED SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS:Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira, or similar platforms.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic work environment.Previous experience or coursework in project management, leadership roles, or related areas.Strong analytical skills and comfort with data analysis tools.Experience in identifying, analyzing, and solving problems independently or as part of a team can demonstrate resourcefulness and critical thinking abilities.REQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:Associate or a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.2+ years of experience in people management.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Gantt charts, Kanban boards) can be advantageous.Equal Opportunity Employer:Digital Factory is an equal opportunity employer, committed to recruiting, hiring, and promoting qualified people of all backgrounds, regardless of sex; race; color; creed; national origin; religion; age; marital status; pregnancy; physical disability; sexual orientation; gender identity or any other basis protected by federal, state or local law.
