The Marketing Coordinator will be a key member of our marketing team, playing an integral role in creating and maintaining digital communications across the resort's customer relation management (CRM) and content management systems (CMS). Day-to-day, the coordinator will be responsible for developing and executing email marketing campaigns to support business objectives and goals, creating and managing email marketing calendars to ensure timely delivery of campaigns, managing subscriber lists and segmentations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data, analyzing and reporting on email campaign performance, and providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Also, the coordinator will help update website/app content and participate in blog content creation. This role will interact with many departments across the resort and is best suited to a creative individual who has an editing eye, strong writing skills, and a love for the outdoors/snow sports industry.

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Base hourly pay range: $18.68 - $29.38 per hour

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following: other duties may be assigned. In conjunction and coordination with the Marketing Manager, you will:

Digital Marketing

Gather content and key details to assist with the creation and distribution of content that effectively engages our audience.Support with campaign needs and ticket queue to make updates across digital mediums including website, blog, chatbot, email, and mobile appResponsible for proofing, testing, and implementing feedback to help ensure accurate and error-free execution of links, content, and assets across desktop and mobile platformsAssist in audience building and segmentation to support targeting strategies utilizing our customer database.Ensure compliance with marketing regulations and best practices, including digital accessibility standards, PII protection, SEO, CAN-SPAM, and GDPR.General

Participate in creative brainstorming, branding, & strategy sessionsAssist with reporting on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.Monitor industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assist with other marketing and business initiatives.Competencies and Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree - preference for a background in marketing, communications1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred:

Proficiency with applicable technology, including Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and web-based applications. Photoshop experience is preferred.Ability to quickly and efficiently learn new Content Management Systems and consumer email platforms. Sitecore CMS and/or WordPress experience is a huge plus.Knowledge of and/or experience with graphic design, Content Management Systems, Search Engine Optimization, HTML & CSS, and Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics are a plus.Experience working with an ESP (we use Acoustic).Familiarity with and passion for the ski resort environment, especially the Palisades Tahoe experience.
