15 employeesJob Overview:We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant with about two years of experience to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Senior Tax Accountant and Tax Manager, providing a solid foundation for professional growth within the company.Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and reportsSupport tax return preparation and filingPerform general ledger accounting and account reconciliationsAssist with month-end and year-end closing processesCollaborate with senior accountants and management on various accounting projectsEnsure compliance with accounting principles and company policiesProvide support during audits and assist in resolving discrepanciesRequirements:Approximately 2 years of experience in accounting, must be in a public accounting firmBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldBasic understanding of GAAP and tax regulationsExperience with accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel)Strong analytical skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMust be within a 1-hour commute to Glendale, CACompensation and Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience100% insurance coverage (family at their own cost)Dental and vision insurance$50,000 life insurance2 weeks PTO starting, plus sick leave10-12 holidays per year4% 401k matchAdditional Information:Initially in-office from Glendale, with a hybrid solution after the first 90 daysOpportunity to grow within the company and take on more responsibilities as experience is gained
