Operations Specialist

to accelerate our laboratory operations and academic research partnerships.

What you’ll do:

Design and implement process and workflow improvements for project completion.

Responsible for sample and data coordination across multiple workflows and pipelines.

Summarize and present key quality performance metrics to leadership.

Assist in the creation of CLIA/CAP laboratory operations Standard Operating Procedures.

Assist management with CLIA/CAP audits and inspections.

Coordinate and lead external academic collaboration project meetings.

Data entry and management via excel and internal LIMS platforms.

Handle Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) and Carbon Dioxide workflows in the lab with proper safety precautions.

Assist with inventory tracking and organization.

Complete other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelors in Biological Sciences or Engineering.

Highly proficient with office software

(Microsoft Office, Google Suite products, Atlassian, other project management tools) .

Exceptional organizational skills and superb attention to detail.

Self-motivated and able to prioritize and complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy.

Exceptional analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred candidates will have 1-3 years in the life sciences industry.

Capable of taking constructive criticism.

Demonstrates problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
