EMC strives to hire and retain the best people by engaging, developing and rewarding employees.Essential Functions:Drives the evolution of the company’s total rewards philosophy through market-competitive compensation and benefits strategies that resonate with EMC’s vision, broader HR initiatives and business goals.Monitors industry trends and adapts strategies to maintain competitive positioning in the market.Oversees extensive market analyses to benchmark EMC’s total rewards against industry norms.Analyzes compensation and benefits data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.Prepares and presents regular reports on total rewards metrics to senior leadership and stakeholders.Develops both qualitative and quantitative analytics to support the creation of cost-effective HR programs.Prepares proposals for program modifications and assesses program utilization to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business goals.Oversees comprehensive communication strategies to effectively articulate the value of total rewards to team members, while managing the communication calendar for timely and relevant dissemination of information.Oversees the development of educational materials and conducts workshops to enhance team member understanding of total rewards.Collaborates with team members to establish performance goals and monitors status, conducts performance reviews, and provides coaching.Resolves disciplinary issues, reviews results, action plans, and progress.Develops team expertise and completes succession planning, including identifying talent and implementing development plans for critical positions.Supports diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.Fosters an innovative culture, including supporting new ideas and providing guidance on potential changes.Oversees the adherence of compensation and benefits programs to legal and regulatory requirements.Proactively updates strategies in response to legislative shifts and implements audit processes to maintain continuous compliance.Ensures compliance of compensation and benefits programs with legal and regulatory requirements.Directs the annual compensation cycles, including merit increases, promotions, and salary adjustments, ensuring they are executed effectively and in alignment with the company’s financial planning.Directs benefits program management, ensuring that health, retirement, and wellness initiatives are competitive, cost-effective, and meet team member needs.Works closely with different business units and department leaders within the organization to discuss benefits, including market trends, competitive data, relevant laws/regulations, and any plan-related issues.Education & Experience:The education and experience below are required for the job unless labelled as preferred:Bachelor’s degree in human resources, management, finance, or related field.Ten years of experience in human resources, benefit management and administration, compensation analysis or related experience, including at least five years of leadership experience.Human Resources Professional Certifications preferred.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:The knowledge, skills and abilities below are required for the job unless labelled as preferred:Expert knowledge of benefit and compensation laws and regulations.Advanced strategic ability to develop appealing and compliant benefits offerings and a competitive compensation strategy to retain and motivate team members.Advanced knowledge of compensation strategies to motivate, reward and retain key talent.Excellent leadership and relationship-building skills.Strong ability to interpret plan documents and compliance regulations.Strong ability to analyze data and manage complex benefit and compensation programs.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey policies and strategies to stakeholders.Demonstrated aptitude to develop and lead an RFP process.
