Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team.The RN functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team caring for patients who are undergoing procedures or exams in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at any Radiology site. The RN carries out established nursing procedures to prepare patients prior to Radiologic procedures, during the procedure, and following the procedure. The RN assists with the management of patient care during moderate sedation and anesthesia cases.The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. UCSF Benefits .Required Qualifications

This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.The ability to wear lead apron required in Interventional Radiology and Neuro Interventional Radiology or Diagnostic Radiology.Moderate Sedation competency required.Recent three (3) to five (5) years experience in either ICU, ED, PACU, or Procedural area.One (1) year of recent Radiology experience/Interventional Radiology.Preferred Qualifications

Certification in Radiology Imaging Nursing.License/Certification

Active Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California.Active American Heart Association CPR Certification.Active American Heart Association ACLS Certification.About UCSF
