Job Description

JRH is looking to hire a remote Mid-Level Quality Assurance Tester who will be responsible for the testing through the full software development lifecycle. The objective is to provide thorough testing of application functions in order to deliver a high-quality product that will meet business goals and objectives. In addition, the QA Tester will be responsible for transitioning from manual testing to a majority automation testing environment as capable.Duties and Responsibilities:Design and execute formal plans, procedures, and scenarios for manual and automated comprehensive tests based on product requirements and specifications.Plan tests, write test cases and scripts, and automate test cases, including using test automation, test strategy, developing and executing test scripts and test plans.Conduct and perform regression testing to test that a code change in the Application due to bug/defect fixing or addition of new functionality does not impact the existing Application functionality.Establish and operate "interoperability" testing procedures to ensure that the interaction and co-existence of various software elements, which are proposed to be distributed on the common infrastructure, conform to appropriate departmental standards.Review, document (using JIRA or similar tool), and resolve bugs, issues, and defects as approved by the customer.Experience:Should have in-depth knowledge of the following technologies:Automation testing tools: Selenium, UFT, Leapbook, or similar automation tool.Microsoft Azure DevOPS.SDLC Agile methodology.Additional Qualifications:4+ years general experience with testing in software development projects.3+ years of hands-on experience in analysis, preliminary production, planning requirements definition, traceability, and evaluation of one or more alternative technical approaches.3+ years’ experience reporting, regressing, and reproducing software inadequacies and defects.3+ years user-level experience in performing functional, system, integration, regression, and performance styles of testing.2+ years’ experience designing and developing test automation scripts.2+ years’ experience with SDLC and agile methodologies.Excellent written communication, with a strong attention to detail.Strong experience in Agile methodologies, analytical skills.Familiarity with defect management tools (Jira, Bugzilla, etc).Desired Certifications:Certified Tester Foundation Level Agile Tester (CTFL-AT).Certified Tester Test Automation Engineer (CT-TAE).Certified Leapwork Professional.Education:Bachelor’s degree or 4 or more years of experience.Job Type:
