Overview

As a Lead Systems Analyst, you’ll help transform Chick-fil-A’s Restaurant Labor Technology by leveraging your analytical, problem solving, and documentation expertise. As our business grows and Restaurant labor needs increases in complexity, new processes, and systems to support this growth are required to scale and thrive. In this role, you will partner with our Engineering Leads, Restaurant Financial Services, Identity Management, and Payroll teams to implement solutions that enable a growing digital ecosystem including but not limited to a suite of APIs and services to manage Team Member, Schedule, Payroll, and Timekeeping data. As part of a growing cross functional team, you will also help to provide technical and functional solutions to support the Labor solutions needed by our Restaurants and drive the strategy for how our applications are scaled to meet the needs of both internal and external consumers.

Responsibilities

Responsible for defining requirements, identifying technical solutions, execution of technical tasks, creation of documentation (requirements, process maps, test plans, etc.), and communication with functional partners.

May make decisions related to vendor management, budgeting, negotiate contracts, and planning.

Support and troubleshoot high complexity and/or business impacting issues and assist other team members with lower complexity issues.

May also support the work of more junior people on the broader team and communicate with functional partners or vendors related to assigned areas of work.

Regularly assist with upgrades, perform backups, identify customizations, and speak into the lifecycle of the systems within area of responsibility.

Considered a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and responsible for the definition and execution of a monitoring strategy.

Understand all aspects of system including how they interact with and/or impact other systems or business processes.

Define strategy, lifecycle, and design decisions for system.

Lead project teams and use system and technical knowledge to implement functionality.

Influence the direction of areas of responsibility and consistently make significant contributions and some decisions towards vision, strategy, and design.

Influence the enterprise in a specific functional area through specific role experience and deep systems knowledge in a given domain.

Own the strategic relationship with the functional and technical partners on systems.
