Harris for President is seeking a Digital Organizing Web & Special Projects Director to direct and support the improvement of our volunteer experiences through our organizing platforms, with an emphasis on web-related products. In this role you will lead cross-departmental discovery meetings to identify program gaps, in addition to scoping and developing opportunities to optimize our volunteer recruitment and volunteer management pipelines across various organizing tools and platforms.

This role will report to the Digital Organizing Director.

Key Responsibilities

Manage cross-departmental relationships across the Digital Organizing, Organizing, Analytics and vendor teams in regards to Digital Organizing tools;

In coordination with the Analytics, identify, prioritize, and launch new product features to go.kamalaharris.com to support the growth of the broader organizing program;

Coordinate with the Grassroots Partnerships Director and Supporter Cultivation Director to design, research, develop, analyze and data pipelines and engagement strategies through email and SMS;

Work with the Digital Organizing & Organizing leadership to construct cohesive, unified volunteer experience journeys across all programs and tools;

Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

3+ years experience coordinating strategic implementation and usage of organizing technology for a progressive campaign or organization;

Proven experience developing relationships and working with technology teams;

Strong time management and organizational skills;

Fundamental knowledge of digital and distributed organizing programs and best practices;

Expert knowledge of digital organizing platforms including Scale to Win, Mobilize, WP VIP, and Reach;

Ready and prepared to work in a fast-paced campaign environment and willing to be flexible with responsibilities.
