We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our client's dynamic team in the health care sector. Responsibilities

Process grant and 3rd party check payments.Prepare entry for general ledger posting of all daily cash receipts to appropriate accounts and cost centers.Maintain cash recording worksheets.Reconcile monthly patient cash and 3rd party payments.Ensure proper accounts receivable balances by reviewing accounts receivable payments posted by the billing agent.Prepare daily cash and check bank deposits with supporting daily reports and make the deposits at the bank before each day's closing time.Assist with the review of AP posting batches.Reconcile bank account activity to bank statements on a monthly basis.Maintain balance sheet account work papers monthly.Provide financial-related assistance services and GL support to various department and grant managers on a monthly basis.Maintain Solomon Fixed Assets by updating the system for asset additions and run monthly depreciation reports for GL entry.Produce other Fixed Asset reports as needed for budgeting and forecasting.Assist with monthly accruals for preparation of financial statements and financial reports to Finance Committee and Board of Directors.Complete monthly allocation spreadsheet.Prepare banking, management fee, and other miscellaneous journal entries and work papers.Assist in the compilation of the annual operating and capital budgets for all entities.Assist Controller in the compilation of materials for internal and external audit, tax filings, and pay reports.

Skills
