We are looking to add a
Staff Accountant to our Accounting Team.
The Staff Accountant is responsible for full cycle accounting. S/he is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day functions, month-end and quarter close and required reporting.Core Responsibilities Include:Perform GL analysis, account, month-end close, accruals and adjusting entries.Prepare journal entries, analyses, account reconciliations and assist with monthly close processes.Ensure tax compliance and prepare required reports for Federal and State taxing agencies federal and state tax filings and 1099 filings.Assist with preparation of monthly financial reporting.Process accounts receivable and Inter-company billings.Post cash transactions and reconcile bank accounts for various local and international entities and prepare cash forecast for management to review weekly.Perform credit card reconciliation, and apply payments via bank deposits.Manage all fixed asset details from, requests, approvals, capitalization, and disposal. Run depreciation for all entities.Post payroll entries to the GL for international entities.Assist numerous departments including Contracts, Quality, and Shipping to resolve outstanding issues.Manage leases, rent schedules, and CAM reconciliations.Assist in inventory cost, variance analysis and reporting.Prepare monthly revenue report for management and compare against budgeted forecast.Run sales reports for management and the Sales and Marketing team by region, product and services weekly.Prepare commission schedules for the sales team quarterly.Assist with Accounts Payable and projects as needed.Balance various entity prepaid transactions and balances.You Bring:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field of study and 3+ year’s relevant experience or equivalent combination.Experience in working with ERP system is beneficial.Proficient computer skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook) and the ability to learn new software programs.Spreadsheet preparation and tracking skills, including VLOOKUP, Macros, and Pivot Tables desired.
