This role involves handling complex commercial litigation matters, drafting pleadings, engaging in discovery, and managing motions and trials.Duties:Manage all phases of commercial litigation from inception through trial.Draft and file pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and other legal documents.Conduct legal research and prepare detailed memoranda and legal arguments.Represent clients in court and during settlement negotiations.Develop and implement case strategies in collaboration with clients and other attorneys.Prepare and review discovery materials and conduct depositions.Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and potential outcomes of litigation.Collaborate with senior partners and legal teams on complex cases.Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.Maintain thorough and accurate case records and documentation.Requirements:Minimum of 8+ years of experience in commercial litigation.Admitted to the NY and NJ Bar.Demonstrated experience in drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and managing trials.Strong writing, research, and communication skills.Proven ability to handle complex litigation matters independently and effectively.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the NY and NJ Bar.Skills:Advanced knowledge of commercial litigation processes and procedures.Proficient in legal research tools and case management software.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
