Mobile Maintenance Engineer
Shift: 7am - 5pm
Pay: $26.92-36.53
The Mobile Engineer performs assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed, selects or adapts standard procedures or equipment, using fully applicable precedents. The position includes hands-on repair & maintenance work and/or supervision of work on various systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building automation systems, generators, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, fire and life safety systems, card access systems, door & gate systems, building envelope systems, grounds and parking lots, interior finish systems, lighting systems, and various other R&M tasks associated with the operation of a commercial property.
Typical Duties Include:
Constructing components, subunits, or simple models or adapting standard equipment; troubleshooting and correcting malfunctions; Conducting various tests or experiments which may require minor modifications, selecting, preparing, and operating standard test equipment; Extracting and compiling a variety of engineering data from field notes, manuals, lab reports, etc.; processing data and identifying errors or inconsistencies; Assisting in design modification by compiling data related to design, specifications, and materials; Ensuring the safe operation, inspection, and maintenance of all HVAC, mechanical, electrical, lighting, and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities; Performing preventive, reactive, and corrective maintenance for all assigned facility equipment utilizing CMMS systems. Working with vendors to maintain technician response times for urgent and emergent reactive call outs. Overseeing vendors in installation, upgrade, and improvement projects for supported facilities.
Minimum Requirements: Perform preventive maintenance and repair service work on HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and various other building systems. Subject to and pass a DoD background investigation. Obtain and maintain a DoD clearance level commensurate with the specific position. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
