Hotel Maintenance Expert/Facilities Director

The overall position is intended to maintain and repair the physical structure of the hotel and furnishings as directed by the owner and general manager.
Duties include inspecting and repairing various energy systems, such as heating and cooling systems, plumbing, lighting, electrical, kitchen equipment, irrigation and pool/spa. You will also be required to assist with repairing floors, roofs, doors, walls, fixture installation and guest requests to ensure guests receive quality service and furnishings. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms, meeting rooms and public spaces as required.
Position Requisites:
Knowledge of engineering policies, procedures, plumbing HVAC, carpentry, electrical and energy management systems.
Previous experience in a hotel, commercial building or building maintenance organization.
Ability to work in a typical maintenance atmosphere requiring heavy lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize well to meet deadlines.
Must behave with integrity, honesty and be open and professional with guests and fellow associates.
Valid driver's license required.
