Genesis10 is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:Responsible for developing automated and manual test scripts to support full regression testing and new functionality tests on reports and Web-based UIs, validating and ensuring that business, technical, functional requirements are being met throughout the SDLCWork with developers and other testers to design and execute test scripts using industry standard testing strategy/plans to identify defects before release to productionTest development focus is on automated testing/regression testing but may also be manual test workMay also include Production Certification which requires manual/automated scripts be executed to certify production health and/or identify post-production defectsWork as a member of the Agile Development team to ensure standard quality practices/processes are followedReview requirement specifications and technical design documents to create manual and automated test scripts and test plansDevelop, update, and execute manual and automated test scripts in coordination with developers and other testersSupport other testers in ensuring that automated scripts are functional and running as expected for regression testingAnalyze test logs; create test reports, coordinate and demonstrate results with stakeholdersCollaborate with development and cross functional teams to troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis
Requirements:
7+ years of experience writing and executing manual and automated test cases4+ years of Web Applications, database testing4+ years with Tosca or similar automated testing tools3+ years working in Agile development environmentExperience with creating documentation as it related to QA; includes test plans, test cases development, test result reports, etc.2+ years working with Tier 1 banking experience
Desired skills:
2+ years working in JIRABusiness Analyst experienceGood knowledge of relational database and basic SQLMicroStrategy experienceTableau experience
