Genesis10 is currently seeking an Quality Assurance Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:Develop detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases based on functional, non-functional, and compliance requirementsLead test planning, usually at a team levelEnsure stories are well refined and contains clear acceptance criteriaEnsure in-scope and out-of-scope items are clearly identified during test planningImplement the test framework for the teamLead test case reviews and works with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure test coverageIdentify automation opportunities and develops test automation for applicable test typesHelp condition and generate test data and ensure data compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environmentsAssist in identifying and managing sensitive test dataDesign test data and ensures data compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environmentsExecute test cases, including manual and automated tests, and records test resultsReport issues and defects along with the appropriate background information for reviewParticipate in triaging reported issues/defects and assists with resolving or escalating them as necessaryCreate and manage traceabilityTrace tests forwards/backwards through the development lifecycle and back to requirementsUse testing tools and follows processes to complete testing on a given test environment, and assists with fulfillment of necessary steps required to promote code base to higher level environmentsMaintain and catalog test suites across test types (Smoke, Integration, Regression, etc.)
Requirements:
8+ years of hands-on experience:Experience with Quality Center/AML, OctaneExperience with WEB and API Testing, Banking SME, Selenium/Cucumber, Testing Process and Tools [ ALM and JIRA]
Desired skills:
Preference is for hands-on experience using Cucumber and BDD processes creating Feature Files and Step DefinitionsCORE JAVA development skillsCommand over SQL
