QA Consultant

Genesis10 is currently seeking a QA Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:Perform system and data analysis based on business need including integration testing and data quality validationCreate test plans, scripts and artifacts for all phases of testingIdentify, document and resolve data quality/data integrity issuesAnalyze and test DDCT mappings, workflows/sessions and other MW jobs/processes Ensures adherence to locally defined standards
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in treasury/payment/transactions servicesStrong knowledge (3+ years) in Tools such as Parasoft SOA/ SOAP UI/ RIT/ LISAStrong knowledge (3+ years) in Technologies/Programming such as Core Java, VB Scripting, SQL, Basic Unix, Cucumber3+ years of Data/File/Database and ETL/Data warehouse testing and proficient in testing all conversions File to file, file to Database, database to file, etc.Strong experience (3+ years) in parsing and generating data/files, bank standards (SWIFT, etc.), XML and XPath7+ years of hands-on experience in Automation Projects in a Developer/Lead capacity7+ years of hands-on experience in reviewing requirements and project documentation to understand the application and perform automation feasibility analysis5+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, maintaining, and analyzing automated test scripts5+ years of hands-on experience executing automation scripts, preparing executions reports and defect logs5+ years of hands-on experience creating project deliverables including automation test plans, automation estimation, test reports and automation dashboardsAbility to support parallel projects, in waterfall/agile/etc. development methodology in fast-paced environmentProficient with mapping and requirements analysisExperience with testing data to support the business requirementsMetadata management and data integrity skillsStrong command over SQLAbility to write complex queries across different systems preferred Oracle and DB2/NetezzaSolid computer programming experience (Java, SQL, Gherkin an asset)
Desired Skills:
Shell Scripts/Regular Expressions (RegExps)/UNIX experienceEclipse or NetBeans Project Management; Test NG; Version Management' Web Services Testing
