We are seeking a skilled operator Chief of Staff who thrives in startup environments and is deeply committed to innovating in women’s health.

About the Role:

As Chief of Staff, you will be pivotal in scaling our operations efficiently. This role encompasses operational leadership, strategic planning, and direct oversight of our clinical and technological expansions. We are looking for an ops/execution focused player with experience scaling from 1 --> 100, and a deep passion for improving healthcare access.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Operations Management:

Develop and refine operational processes to streamline care referrals, increase patient engagement, and improve the patient and provider experience. Oversee key operational areas such as credentialing/contracting with plans, onboarding patients, and geographic expansion.

Team Leadership and Development:

Manage and expand a diverse team, ensuring seamless onboarding and continuous professional development. Act as a mentor and guide, fostering a proactive and performance-oriented culture.

Product and Service Implementation:

Collaborate with the CTO and product teams to drive the operational launch of new technologies and services. Ensure integration of tech solutions into daily operations, enhancing overall efficiency and user experience.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Interface with health system partners and investors to operationalize partnerships and secure additional funding channels. Maintain excellent communication and foster relationships with all stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

Leverage data and feedback to implement process improvements, standardize operations, and optimize staffing models. Ensure that Malama remains at the forefront of industry best practices and innovation.

Regulatory and Financial Oversight:

Navigate the complexities of healthcare regulations and insurance reimbursements. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and optimize financial workflows for sustained growth.

Your Qualifications:

Proven experience in operational leadership within a highly-regulated industry.

Strong capability in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams.

Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution.

Passionate about women’s health and committed to improving healthcare access.

Familiarity with MSO/PC models, healthcare credentialing, and contracting preferred.
