JOB REQUIREMENTS: Reports to: Sustainability Director Workdays: Monday Friday (Occasional Weekends) Summary: Habitat for Humanity of the Greater La Crosse Region is a growing, multi-faceted, non-profit organization that serves families in need of safe, affordable housing while transforming entire communities throughout our five counties. We are looking for a full-time sustainability professional to support the implementation of its environmental initiatives and programs. The Sustainability Coordinator will be responsible for strategically developing, executing, and expanding these programs using skills in project management, partnership development, communications, and fund development. Compensation & Benefits: Habitat for Humanity of the Greater La Crosse Region offers paid time off, paid sick time, paid holidays, dental/vision insurance, accident insurance, and 401k retirement. This position is full-time, 40 hours a week. RESPONSIBILITIES ReNew the Block: Develop and maintain relationships with Homeowners, including project updates, assessments, and scheduling of critical home repairs. Plan and attend volunteer and community relations and events. This includes coordinating volunteer days with the Volunteer Coordinator, developing critical home repair project sheets for each parcel, and general community outreach. Work with the marketing team to capture and develop outreach materials. Communicating internally with staff to organize events, scheduling, and present project updates. Fishers and Farmers Partnership: Create and execute a yearly and quarterly content sharing strategy for all digital platforms and video series. Construct program updates and national network engagements. This includes supporting the steering committee and staff with events, presentations, and speaking engagements: planning, gathering and preparing supplies; and monitoring participation. Create and distribute annual reports. Plan, promote, facilitate, and evaluate workshops. La Crosse Area Waters Create and execute a yearly and quarterly content sharing strategy for all digital platforms. Research, analyze, and schedule participation at events, speaking engagements, and tabling. Plan for and manage these event opportunities. Construct program updates and outreach analytics analysis to share with the La Crosse Urban Storm Water Group and internal Habitat for Humanity Staff. Qualifications: Preferred bachelor\'s degree in Sustainability, Management, Marketing, Communications, or similar field. Commensurate experience will be considered. Proficiency in Microsoft & Google products, WordPress, WIX, Canva, Adobe, MailChimp, and Meta Business Suite. Preferred prior experience working in renewable energy, conservation, regenerative agriculture, stormwater management, and/or neighborhood revitalization. Detail-oriented, entrepreneurial self-starter who relishes multitasking. Excellent problem solving, planning, and organizational skills. Creative writing and graphic design experience. Resourcefulness, with the ability to deliver results in an entrepreneurial, dynamic environment. Able to relate well to diverse populations age, race, class, gender, and creed Position Information: This is a permanent, full-time, non-exempt position of 40 hours/week, including limited nights and weekends, with occasional travel required. Pay range: \$35,000 45,000/year based on experience. Offers flexible scheduling.
