Comp: $70k-$75k DOE
One of Vaco's SaaS/Tech clients is looking to onboard several new members to the accounting team at the Staff level due to anticipated growth for 2024. They are looking for folks with a strong foundation in nuts and bolts accounting as well as Excel.
Company offers a base + bonus + equity program.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Own the month-end close processes for assigned areas, including daily interaction with internal business partners and external auditors.
Prepare and review monthly journal entries and related balance sheet account reconciliations.
Create process efficiencies using technology; strong data skills for structuring and enriching data to achieve business insights.
Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills using VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, INDEX MATCH, etc.
"Nice-to-haves"
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Active CPA or CPA eligible strongly preferred.
Intermediate MS Excel background.
In-depth knowledge of Accounting theory and application of U.S. GAAP.
Experience with financial reporting and financial statement preparation.
General ledger and related reconciliation experience.
