Purpose of PositionProvides administrative support for the Kentucky Center for Mathematics. This position handles financial transactions using SAP, orders materials for professional development courses, records all transactions for tracking, provides contract and grant support. The KCM is a complex center providing professional learning opportunities to Kentucky mathematics educators with a goal of improving PK-20 mathematics success for students.

Primary Responsibilities1. The Kentucky Center for Mathematics Coordinator of Business - Grants will oversee the budgeting of the KCM grants under the direction of the KCM Program Manager. The duties include but are not limited to annual budget forecasting, maintenance of a shadow budget to ensure effective operations, review of revenue and expenditures with NKU SAP system, quarterly reports to KCM stakeholders about program operations/revenue/expenditure goals, and clear alignment of budget with KCM mission and vision.
2. Responsible for processing payment of invoices; preparing purchase requisitions; travel requests/expense reports and processing other financial documents through SAP. Invoices collaborating schools. Utilizes Business Warehouse to monitor labor distribution in KCM, and verify budget consumption. Reconciles all KCM PCards associated with the grant expenditures and is responsible for record keeping of reports and receipts.
3. The Kentucky Center for Mathematics Coordinator of Business- Grants will work within the NKU finance and facilities community to represent KCM in all meetings ensuring the highest quality processes, protocols, and reporting of state funds.
4.Responsible for managing operations of materials within the grant. This includes serving as a liaison between KCM math mentors (contracted service personnel) and the center. This position will inventory and ensure timely production of materials for all grant activities.
QualificationsExcellent written and interpersonal communication skills, excellent organization skills with meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong customer relationship management skills and experience.
Must have proficiency with MS Office Suite, graphic design, all social media platforms, and video editing.
Minimum of 2 letters of recommendation. Maximum of 3 letters of recommendation.
Location- On campus at NKU.
