Key job responsibilities
Manage the lifecycle of a complex cross-functional program with considerable impact.Accountable for the overall strategy as well as driving teams inside and outside your organization to deliver.Understand the systems in your product or program space, their limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions, and reasons behind architectural decisions.Ensure business and technical stakeholder needs are aligned, driving mindful discussions that lead to crisp decisions.Make smart trade-offs (e.g., time vs. effort vs. features).Partner with customers and engineering teams to determine which projects move forward and in what priority order.Use your knowledge to assess development processes, test plans, and operations/maintenance requirements.Streamline and/or eliminate excess processes.Influence teams to decouple from dependencies and eliminate architecture problems that stifle innovation or cause user dissatisfaction, development collisions, and/or outages.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience- 3+ years of software development experience- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadershipPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
