JOB SUMMARY:The Service Center Legal Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to a team of attorneys, paralegals and business support personnel. Some high-level responsibilities include building relationships with assigned team members, creating and editing documents, performing document comparisons, entering and editing daily time, arranging travel, coordinating meeting arrangements and providing overflow support for LEAs.Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Develops and maintains effective relationships with internal stakeholdersCoordinates travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, and transportationProcesses invoices and expense reportsSupports the clean-up of diary entries according to client guidelines; transfers time to appropriate matters as necessaryManages and coordinates logistics for meetings or eventsProvides general administrative support, such as photocopying, scanning, and filing documentsHandles incoming and outgoing mail and packagesCollaborates with other departments and team members on various projectsAssists in the coordination of special projects and initiatives as assignedDemonstrates technical proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) applicationsMaintains confidentiality and handles sensitive information with discretionIs proactive, resourceful, and adaptable to handle unexpected tasks and challengesExecutes work with a high degree of precision and accuracyExperience working in a law firm, professional services organization, or customer service capacityWORK CONDITIONS:Normal office environment. The incumbent is expected to work the hours necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.Qualifications

College degree or equivalentExpert proficiency with the MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) applicationsStrong organizational skills that reflect ability to seamlessly perform and prioritize multiple tasks with excellent attention to detailStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external lawyers, staff and clientsExpert communication skillsProactive approach to problem-solving and strong decision-making capabilityCompensation and Total Rewards Package

Ropes & Gray is proud to offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package to our business support team members. The anticipated pay range for this role is $62,500 - $91,000 which represents our good faith and reasonable estimate of the starting salary range at the time of posting. In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance. The actual offered rate for this position will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data and consideration of internal equity.Working Conditions

This position requires hybrid on-site presence as an essential function of the role. Consistent and predictable on-site presence is required for ongoing business continuity, professional development and effective collaboration with colleagues and management.
