CSCP's vision is to empower customers to achieve more by delivering Cloud Capacity Differentiated at Scale. Our mission is to deliver capacity for all cloud services predictably through intelligent systems driven by continuous learning and a world-class organization. The CSCP Organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), decommissioning, and disposition of Data center assets worldwide. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, Skype, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform for external customers. Our infrastructure is comprised of a large global portfolio of more than 200 datacenters supporting services for more than 1 billion customers in over 90 countries worldwide. We are looking to hire a Supply Chain Program Manager in our Redmond, Washington Office or to our Austin offices.Responsibilities

Meet regularly with assigned suppliers to review forecasts, capture supply commitments, and publish internally.Review and manage PO process for spares to assure compliance and supportability against our 3PL inventory positioning.Manage metrics including days of supply, E&O, shortages within lead time, and inventory exposure at each supplier to improve performance.Work with Lifecycle Management and Capacity Planning teams on the timing and availability of product transitions to plan for platform end of life (minimizing E&O inventory) and ramp of new platforms.Define inventory buffer targets (in conjunction with Component Planning) and strategies based on historical usage and forecast. Define financial risk/liability associated with said buffers.Review priorities between production and spares to create allocation plans for constrained materials.Act as primary liaison between production planning and warranty teams to define processes to ensure supply across both demand streams.Develop processes and tools to support allocations between parties.Embody our Culture and Values
