Role Overview:The Director of Ops Finance will partner with the Global Operations organization, especially the Spare Parts Transformation COE and our local Operating entities, to understand the Spare Parts value stream and identify opportunities to drive financial performance in the Service segment. The scope spans all facets of Part Center Operations performance, from volume growth to pricing to efficiency metrics to drive P&L results. This role will analyze monthly results and forecasts across all of these metrics and work with appropriate business partners to identify opportunities and drive accountability.On a typical day you will:Analyze results and forecasts for Global Ops contribution, service inventory, overhead expenses, productivity, etc.Support cross-functional teams with eCARs and Transformation investments by ensuring business cases reflect appropriate costs and deliver financial benefits for the organization.Assist in defining common financial KPIs related to Part Centers performance across Regions/OUs.Partner with the Global Operations team to help optimize program results, ensure KPIs and performance is visible through financial reporting, and align processes across regions (e.g., inventory, E&O reductions).Assess the parts transfer pricing models to ensure wall-to-wall optimization.Prepare materials to support management presentations.Conduct ad hoc analysis as we look for new ways to analyze the business and new ideas to drive growth.What You Will Need to be Successful:A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.10-plus years of related finance experience required.Excellent organizational skills and a focus on continuous improvement.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.A demonstrated attention to detail.Ability to deal with all levels of a global organization.Local Benefits or Selling Statement:Join our Global Operations Finance team to help Otis deliver on our commitments and develop global processes to sustain flexibility as the business needs change.If you live in a city, chances are we will give you a lift or play a role in keeping you moving every day.Otis is the world’s leading elevator and escalator manufacturing, installation, and service company.
