client is looking for a Director of IT and Support to join their team!

Location:

Buffalo, NY (Must be local to be considered)

Duration:

Fulltime/Direct Hire

Pay Rate:

up to $165k (Depending on experience)

Essential Functions:

Manage marketing and sales strategies.

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and sales strategies to drive product awareness and revenue growth.

Oversee research and development for product enhancements.

Lead the research and development (R&D) in identifying opportunities for product innovation and improvement. Oversee the design, testing, and implementation of new features, ensuring alignment with market demand and customer feedback.

Develop and implement technical strategies.

Formulate long-term technical strategies to support business goals. Oversee the integration of new technologies and systems to enhance operational efficiency, product performance, and competitive positioning in the marketplace.

Provide product support.

Serve as the technical point of contact for product-related inquiries. Ensure the delivery of top-tier customer support, manage issue resolution, and coordinate with technical teams to troubleshoot and address complex challenges.

Handle budgeting and expense management.

Manage departmental budgets, including forecasting, expense tracking, and cost optimization. Ensure alignment with overall company financial goals, and make data-driven decisions to maximize return on investment.

Manage vendor relationships.

Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and service providers.

Lead project management.

Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of various projects across the organization. Utilize project management methodologies to ensure timely delivery, adherence to budget, and alignment with strategic objectives.

Oversee technical infrastructure and system security.

Manage the company's technical infrastructure, ensuring that systems are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance.

Drive process improvement initiatives.

Identify opportunities for process optimization across departments. Lead initiatives to streamline workflows, increase efficiency, and reduce operational costs while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Establish and enforce policies and procedures.

Develop, implement, and enforce organizational policies and procedures. Ensure the department is in compliance with regulations and best practices, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Maintain comprehensive documentation processes.

Ensure the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date documentation for all projects, processes, and procedures. This includes product specifications, system architecture, policies, and user manuals to support operational continuity and compliance.

Supervise customer support operations.Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5+ years of experience in modern information technology.Proficiency in current programming languages.Expertise in planning and design.Strong knowledge of information security and business administration.Basic understanding of AI.Experience in employee supervision, contract management, and customer service.Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
