The University of Missouri Intercollegiate Athletics Department prepares student-athletes for success. Our talented and inspired employees are determined, innovative, brave, and committed to excellence in developing students and fulfilling the responsibilities we have to the citizens of Missouri.Reporting to the Head Women's Tennis Coach, this role performs all administrative responsibilities related to running a first-class tennis center with over 300 members and managing the daily operations of an SEC women's tennis program.Responsibilities Include:

Direct the day-to-day operations of the Missouri Women's tennis program.Ensure equipment orders are completed and items are properly distributed.Direct and assist in coordinating and organizing on-campus recruitment visits for prospective student-athletes to include individual student itineraries, housing arrangements, academic and head coach appointments, entertainment, and meals.Direct and execute all women's tennis team travel plans for away competitions to include air and ground transportation, and lodging.Coordinate with officials for matches, including lodging, meals, payments, etc.Act as administrator in charge of all aspects of post-season competitions.Coordinate all public relations activities and community service events that require presence of coaching staff and/or student-athletes, in consultation with the Athletics Compliance Office, as necessary.Serve as a liaison between the tennis program, athletic development office, and department marketing and communications staff.Direct, organize, and assist in running all Missouri Women's tennis summer camps, if applicable.Direct the planning, preparation, and monitoring of the tennis budget; reconcile receipts and work with the Business Office to track payments.Manage special projects, including scoreboard operations, PlaySight video streaming system, courts reservation system, etc.Manage part-time desk staff and operations.Supervise the courts reservations system and management.Oversee communication with CCMO.Develop and implement strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones.Build and maintain relationships with current and potential members. Address member issues and concerns.Provide exceptional customer service to members, addressing any inquiries or concerns.Utilize technology sales techniques to promote membership benefits and services and ensure accurate monthly accountings.Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless member experience.Manage the membership database and ensure accurate record keeping.Track membership metrics and provide regular and accurate reports to management.Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor offerings.Coordinate with custodial and facilities maintenance staff to provide a clean and orderly facility, including ensuring the courts remain clean.Manage the appearance and maintenance of the tennis facility.Work closely with the graphic design team to ensure accurate and aesthetically pleasing graphics are ordered and put up in a timely manner.Coordinate with the facilities maintenance team to ensure deferred maintenance and future needs are budgeted for and implemented.Other duties as assigned.Shift

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Nights, Weekends, and Travel as required.Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in a related/relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in a NCAA Division I tennis program.Anticipated Hiring Range
