ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

developing and implementing operational strategies that align with the company goals.

identifying inefficiencies and implementing lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity.

People Leader:

leading and mentoring operations teams fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Budget Management:

managing budgets and ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining quality standards.

Quality Assurance:

ensuring that all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Collaboration:

coordinating with other departments such as supply chain, engineering, and sales to streamline operations.

Performance Tracking:

monitoring KPIs (key performance indicators) to assess operational performance and make data-driven decisions.

Overall, the Director of Manufacturing Operations plays a crucial role in ensuring that products are manufactured efficiently, cost-effectively, and to the highest quality standards for our customers.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

4-year bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.

10+ years of manufacturing experience.

Experience managing large change management projects, leading cross-functional teams, and leading culture change.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

strong analytical skills to identify issues, analyze data, and develop effective solutions quickly.

expertise in quality assurance processes and compliance with regulatory standards.

Technical Expertise:

familiarity with manufacturing technologies, automation, and industry-specific machinery.

Communication:

excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Change Management:

ability to lead organizational change and foster a culture of family and continuous improvement.

These skills help ensure that the Director of Manufacturing Operations can maintain efficient production processes while meeting safety, customer, quality, and compliance standards.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This leadership position will oversee the Horn Lake Facility with departmental functional reports, with a total organization responsible for a full team of 275+ and growing.
