Position:

Curriculum & Assessment ManagerThe ideal candidate has a deep understanding of curriculum design principles and can create effective learning experiences for students and adults. They are responsible for evaluating student and adult learning outcomes and developing assessment tools & strategies to measure participant progress. The Curriculum & Assessment Manager will report directly to the Associate Director of Curriculum.Job Responsibilities:

Professional Development (40%):Research and build professional development curriculum modules/packages and product lines - core academic intervention content through leadership and team-building. Assess efficacy of professional development programming.Train and collaborate with professional development specialists to prepare engaging and participant-centered sessions around Study Smart Tutors’ Curriculum.Train specialists to adapt new engagement strategies and presenting methods.Collaborate with the professional development team to build, facilitate, and co-facilitate professional development training as needed for target audiences - advisors, counselors, teachers, administrators, coaches, etc.Curriculum & Assessment Development (40%):Develop and manage curriculum related to common-core standards, social-emotional learning standards, and high-stakes assessments, such as, but not limited to SBA, ELPAC, STAAR, and ACCESS.Determine and execute appropriate curricular adjustments, modifications, and additions to the existing student-facing curriculum.Build student-facing curriculum and assessments.Partner with LMS stakeholders to develop courses for training and certifying part-time tutor/facilitators and clients around new curriculum and programming.Educator Support (10%):Build and maintain relationships with the Partnerships Team, Curriculum Team and Academic Services Team - share pertinent information across stakeholders.Communicate with part-time tutors and facilitators, and coordinators for curriculum-related needs specific to the program.Observe virtual and in-person sessions (student and/or adult) to assess the effectiveness of the curriculum and provide feedback to the Instructional Team members and the company for continuous improvement of people and products.Other Duties (10%):Assist on special projects as needed.Travel - leading training for clients, attending conferences for research and development (10% monthly).Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree, Prefer Master's Degree in EducationTeaching Credentials preferredExperienced in leading professional development and curriculum buildingExperienced in time management, establishing priorities, and complying with deadlinesAbility to work as part of a team with Strong organizational skillsEffective CommunicatorStrong project management skills with the ability to work independently and collaborativelyMust have a keen eye for detailStrong written and oral communication skillsExpert with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe products, and Google SuiteExperience with SalesForce and AI ToolsSalary and Benefits:
