The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in trial law and be prepared to contribute effectively in a dynamic litigation environment.Duties and Responsibilities:Participate in all phases of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial activities.Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Assist in case preparation, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing for depositions.Represent clients in court, hearings, and mediation.Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal issues and case strategies.Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.Handle administrative tasks related to case management and client representation.Requirements:Up to 3 years of experience in trial law or related legal practice.Strong foundational knowledge of litigation procedures and trial practice.Ability to manage case responsibilities with minimal supervision.Excellent communication and analytical skills.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Maryland State Bar, or eligibility to sit for the Bar exam in Maryland.Skills:Proficiency in legal research and writing.Strong organizational and case management abilities.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to client service.
