This role also includes cross-functional team support of applications that integrate with the POS system.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage the POS system, including all aspects of the menu/product configurations; responsible for resolving POS menu issues in a timely manner and in a manner that minimizes brand impact.Manage the POS membership and inventory databases to ensure system support for accurate inventories to be taken at the restaurant.Work cross-functionally on inventory and recipe verifications and manage the configuration of the same for both the POS system and inventory system TouchBistro/Peachworks.Manage and lead updates to inventory items in the POS related to LTOs, promotions, loyalty, FSIs, menus, product changes, tenders, among others.Actively support POS system upgrades in both corporate and franchised locations; independently identifying and resolving issues to completion.Work with cross-functional teams to develop and modify system specifications from ideation to completion.Provide support related to the POS system and manage the custom support process from start to finish.Manage documentation regarding system configuration, testing, modification, maintenance processes & schedules relating to the design of the POS system, and support plans for related activities.Establish and refine processes and procedures related to restaurant technologies (POS, TouchBistro, MyEPL, etc.), improve brand efficiency.Lead training and communication efforts with the company and franchisees that ensure alignment and understanding of POS system capabilities, functionality, and processes.QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the job. The requirements listed below are representative of the education and/or experience required.Education/Work Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required, AA degree or greater in a computer-related field preferred. 4+ years’ experience with POS Systems, strongly prefer experience with Micros Simphony and/or RES3700 enterprise menu administration.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to exercise independent judgment on matters of significance to the company.Adept at managing and prioritizing competing time-sensitive requests while working well in a team atmosphere that may be under pressure.Ability to effectively speak with internal customers, external customers, vendors, and franchisees.Ability to work at the Support Center consistent with the hybrid work policy.Ability to independently solve practical and abstract problems and deal with a variety of known and unknown variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Exceptional customer relationship building skills and ability to effectively provide one-on-one consultancy to end users. Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.Requires initiative and strong time/project management skills. Mex from our famous family dinners to Mexican entrees.The pay range identified is the hourly or salary rate El Pollo Loco expects to pay for the posted position. This range does not include any benefits or bonus opportunities that might be available for the position based on position and eligibility criteria. Individual pay will vary based on a variety of factors including years of experience, industry experience, education, geography, etc.
