NEX/13Job Summary:Serves as resource to staff regarding data entry, maintenance, and results. Coordinates incoming data for accuracy and integrity, assists with complex data preparation and documentation, analyzes data, and creates reports. Ensures associated administrative tasks such as documentation, editing of code books and manuals, etc. are completed.Target hiring range for this position will be between $23.50 - $25.50/hr. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.Specific Responsibilities:Strategic PlanningIdentifies and assesses customer data needs.Assists in identifying organizational area's data integration and related records solutions.Collaborates on a variety of data management projects including variable definitions, storage, etc.AdministrationEnsures that all data is obtained and verified for subsequent analysis.Provides updates and summaries regarding statistics.Provides administrative support to organizational area.DevelopmentWrites queries and reports and creates necessary analysis.Runs and distributes standard scheduled reports.Maintains and updates report inventory.PerformanceArchives complex data structures to prepare final catalog of data sets.Performs advanced cleaning/formatting tasks of datasets.Minimum Qualifications:A bachelor's diploma or equivalent is required.4 years' data management and project management of similar experience is required.Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)Microsoft SharePointCritical thinkingDatabase design/ data structureDebuggingDecision makingJudgmentProblem solvingTroubleshootingAgile environmentCode documentationCollaboration and teamworkFunctional documentationOrganizational skillsPlanningWorkflow development & documentationMinimum Competencies:Experience in database setup/maintenance in data collection software packages (e.g., REDCap or Qualtrics)Experience in measure scoring and documentation of psychological assessmentsExperience in project managementExperience in dataset preparationPreferred Qualifications:A bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Public Health, and other applied social and behavioral sciences, or related fieldsOne year research experience in applied social and behavioral sciencesPreferred Competencies:Knowledge of research methods and developmental psychology/child developmentSkills managing multiple partners in research environmentExperience in preparing complex/longitudinal datasetsBenefits:At Northwestern, we are proud to provide meaningful, competitive, high-quality health care plans, retirement benefits, tuition discounts and more!
