What you'll do
As a Project Manager in Aviva Canada, you will be responsible for:
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Team Leadership: Lead project teams, including internal and external partners, ensuring everyone is aligned with project goals and objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure successful project delivery.
- Communication: Maintain clear and open communication channels with project partners, providing regular updates and reports.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to best processes.
- Budget Management: Supervise project budgets and expenditures, making necessary adjustments to stay within budget.
- Scope Management: Lead project scope and change requests, ensuring they align with project objectives.
- Partner Engagement: Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members to enhance collaboration and project success.
- Documentation: Maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve project issues and obstacles to keep projects on track.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in [relevant field] or equivalent work experience.
- Experience as a Project Manager or similar field, with a track record of successfully delivering outcomes on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership and presentation skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage partners effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus
